This is Brother and Sister Butt. They are amazing! We went to their house for supper last night and we all made our own pizzas! It was so fun :) and delicious. And look mom, I put more than just pepperoni on it! Vegetables! haha my tastes are changing a little for pizza. I kinda like it all now! Not mushrooms or tomatoes still though...

We even rolled out our own dough. It was fun :) and they let us borrow their lovely xmas aprons.

We did so much service this week, it was really good. We got to help a guy clean out his basement and go through stuff and re-organize. It was fun. We ended up with 2 truck loads of stuff to take to the dump. Then he fed us this realllyyyyy great pizza :)

Later that same day we went to help a lady in our ward clean her apartment. It was a really big job. We cleaned for 3 hours and didn't even touch the bathrooms. We were sooooo exhausted that night. But I love doing service because you can just tell that it relieves a lot of stress from those you serve and we get to help Heavenly Father bless those people. I don't think either of them could have done the job themselves by the time it needed to be done. So I was happy to help. :) We also helped another lady clean and reorganize her kitchen. That was fun. :)

We are always super busy. It seems like we are constantly running to and from the car or changing in the car from our service clothes to proselyting clothes and back to service clothes. At one point we probably could have lived in our car for a week with the amount of food and clothes we had in there! But staying busy is good. Time seems to fly by. I am already through my first transfer and two months into my mission. Totes Cray!

We have a baptism coming up this Saturday! I am so excited. Adut is amazing and so ready and I think she will be a great example for the rest of her friends who have a date for April 25th :) So we get to plan our first baptism this week. :)

We work with a lot of less active members as well. I love meeting with them. Helping them figure out and resolve their issues and getting them back to church. Sometimes all they need is a little love. And getting them back to church brings them so much love and blessings. The work of saving souls is multi faceted. And truly brilliant :) I love it.

I found a new investigator on Facebook. I have been working with her for quite a while but she is finally starting to open up a little more and wanting to learn more. I love that we have the opportunity to proselyte on Facebook. It can be super effective, especially for people who have a hard time opening up to new people face to face and in person. It is amazing how you can feel the spirit through some words on a screen even across thousands of miles.

Well I'm sure I'll have more to share next week. hope you are all happy and well. :)

Love you all xoxoxoxoxo

Not a lot of time, but one miracle from this past week: our family of 8 that is investigating, the Obi's, all came to sacrament meeting yesterday! They only have a small car and can't take all of their family so we had to find a ride for the other 4 of them. And let me tell ya, that was harder than it should have been! No one from the ward was willing to do it and that was really frustrating and stressful since we promised this family a ride. But God always provides a way and one of our recent converts offered to take them. So she went out of her way to take this family to church then back home to pick up her daughter and her neighbour for church. What an amazing lady :)

The kids were all so good during church! They had to go somewhere after sacrament meeting, but they told us that next week they would love to come and stay all three hours! Wohoo! The church is true! I'm excited for them, I think they will love primary and Relief Society especially. They are progressing, slowly but surely. The language barrier is a bit hard, but we were able to find copies of the Book of Mormon in their language! What a miracle.

Oh and yesterday I dropped my bagel on the carpet, but it fell right side up, tender mercy of the Lord :) haha.

So that's my news for this week :) Stay updated on my blog :) Love you all

We bought a fish as a joke for one of our members. The elders bought the boy one a couple weeks ago so we thought we would get a girl and she has a lucky fin so we named her the girl version of nemo so her name is Nema Milldavin (miller-Davis-martin) haha She is super small so you can't really see here haha.

We had to go to another appt before the one where we could give the fish, and we couldn't leave her in the car cause she would freeze so we put her in sister Miller's purse and brought her in the lesson with us so we had a fish in our purse in a lesson and no one even knew! Hahaha it was funny. Here's Nema Milldavin j-chillin in the purse.

So this has been a really good week. There were some ups and some downs but the good outweighs the bad :)

I almost fell asleep in a lesson! acca awkward! haha

So guess what, this week we met with all the girls ( Angella's friends: Adut, Apajok, Rhoda, Angellique) and they brought another friend named Sabrina! AND THEY ALL COMMITED TO BAPTISM. Adut and Apajok's date is March 21 and the rest of them are April 25 so i'm super excited about that. They all seem really open and interested. Yesterday at church Adut came and brought her 2 younger brothers and she even went up and BORE HER TESTIMONY. What what what what... what what what what... hahaha anyway she is super good and so are the rest of them. I love them already.

Then we met another girl named Natasha she's in her 20s and like 9 months pregnant about to pop any day and we taught her the restoration and committed her to baptism. She doesn't have a date yet but she is super sweet and wants to learn more. But she wasn't there when we went to our next lesson with her so we think she might have had her baby!

The Obi family is doing great as well. We talked about scripture reading and prayer and they are progressing slowly but surely so that is good. I am doing well. I am happy. It has been hard to eat weird food and eat way too much and sleep way too little, but other than that I am good. The days seem to go by fast and the weeks fly by.

Sorry my email is super short. I have no time to email today. But the good news is that my Dad is amazing and made a super neat blog that you can all go check out for more updates and info on my super crazy fun mission life :) I love you all :) Have a good week :)
