Life is okay right now. We have been sick the past week, a head cold. not fun. So I've just been so tired and worn out. The work is good, we have lots of good people to work with. This week we met this guy and we went and talked to him when he was just walking to the pizza place and you could seriously smell him from 10 feet away, he was just so stoned on MJ it was crazy. But we set up a time to meet him at the library, not really expecting him to show. So we got there a half hour late and he wasn't there but we turned around and he walked in! So we met with him and taught him the restoration and he didn't seem high this time so that's good and he said he had been thinking about what we said to him when we met him a lot and he committed to a baptismal date and to come to church. So we weren't sure if he would actually come, but he did! And he stayed all 3 hours and seemed to really like it and wants to meet again and come back! SO that was really surprising haha and exciting. He is 25 though so we have to turn him over to the YSA elders. But that's ok, they are good Elders, they will take care of him. He seems pretty genuine. So that was an exciting part of our week.

We also have this investigator who has been dating a member for a year now and he lives in alberta and she would go see him every weekend and go to church with him there and now she wants to be baptized. But she has been having major health issues. She has MS and just got diagnosed with Lupus. So she is on the max amount of blood thinners and still having issues with blood clots and the doctors told her that she will most likely have a stroke soon and they are not sure she will survive another stroke. AND her daughter has lymphoma.... So if you could pray for her and her family, that would be really good.

Hey everyone! Hope all is well for you. I just got transferred this week. I was in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and now I am in Regina, Saskatchewan. I miss Saskatoon a lot but I am happy to be here, the temple is here! And it is close to Moose Jaw, one of my previous areas, so I may get to see people from there! Yay :) I was sad to leave Sister Alder, but I am now in a tripan with Sister Kearl and Sister Lau. Sister Kearl and I are Sister Training Leaders and Sister Lau is with us until her companion gets here. She is in the Philippines and waiting for a VISA to get here. So not sure how long it will be, but we will see I guess. Never a dull moment in mission life. I have been out for almost 15 months left and have 3 transfers to go, so I am just trying to love the work and keep going strong. I love you all, thank you for your love and support. Hope you all have a great week!

Love,
Sister Martin

Hahaha this is Bella :) She is the daughter of one of our investigators, Christine. She is a cutie, but usually a diva and never seems to like us haha she wont high five us or sit by us or let us touch her toys haha BUT she just came and sat right down in between us! So we took advantage of the moment and got lots of pics.

Waiting in line at the car wash haha there is ALWAYS a HUGE line. Today wasn't the worst it's been though so that's good.

From Me:

"Glad to hear things are going good. We love you. We sure miss you right now. It's hard to have you gone at Christmas. We keep saying stuff like, "Next year Maddy will be home for Christmas"

We love you

What are you doing on Christmas?"

From Maddy:

"haha I CANT WAIT TILL NEXT CHRISTMAS ALREADY haha seriously though like this christmas is fun and all, but it just keeps making me a little homesick and excited for next year to come already. But I am trying to live in the moment just like usual haha. It's a daily struggle sometimes. I just miss you all so much. But the time will fly by before I know it. On christmas I get to sleep in till 9, if my body will let me haha, then make crepes and open presents :) And then skype home at 1 (11am for you) and then at 2 we are going to a members for games and supper at 4 and then in the evening we are going to another members I think to watch a disney movie which will be fun. :) So that's our christmas. everyone in our ward is out of town and we hadn't been invited anywhere so a lady in another ward invited us over. so it will be good. :)"
